Dear Parents/Carers,
As a school we have learnt a lot about renewable energy, the important of recycling and how to be an enviromentally friendly as possible. We are also very keen to prevent items going into landfill. Therefore we have teamed up with Bags2School (https://bags2school.com/) because we want to encourage the Petworth community to donate their unwanted items and raise money for our school.
Bags2School accept the following 'good quality' items for RE-USE:
- Men's, ladies' and children's clothing
- Paired shoes (tied together or elastic band around)
- Handbags
- Hats
- Bags
- Scarves and ties
- Jewellery
- Longerie
- Socks
- Belts
- Soft toys
- Household linen
- Household curtains
- Household towels
- Household bedding (bed sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers) not duvets or blankets
This is a great opportunity to further teach children the benefits of recycling whilst you are having yet another tidy up. Therefore if you have any items, which you would like to donate please put them in a bag and bring them into school by Tuesday 17th March 2020 as they will be collected the following day. Also tell your friends, neighbours and relatives to help us help the environment.
